Minicom Digital Signage Control Unit for the Video Display System

The Minicom DS by Kramer VDS-CU is a control unit for the Minicom DS VDS and AVDS digital signage distribution Systems and is essential for classroom video distribution systems and CBT (computer based training) systems.   Once the VDS-CU is connected to the control port of the VDS-B or AVDS-B, an instructor can preform basic override functions.

By pressing the "Master to All" button, the broadcasters screen is sent tall remote monitors.  Pressing the button again, releases the remote monitors to display the local video stream. (when remote computers/sources are connected)

By pressing the "Dark All" button the instructor can darken all remote screens. The screen dark function is useful when carrying out maintenance, changing the broadcast program or in a classroom environment to grab students' attention.
