The AlterPath OnSite ATP7882 provides remote site management for branch offices and remote sites with a small, inexpensive solution for controlling IT infrastructure devices such as networking equipment, servers, and devices that perform specific applications. By combining the functionality of Cyclades AlterPath ACS (console server) and AlterPath KVM/net (KVM over IP KVM switch), the OnSite ATP7882 delivers KVM switch access, power control (through the AlterPath PM), and serial device access in an easy-to-use integrated platform.
The OnSite ATP7882 KVM over IP features enable complete secured control for graphical environments such as Microsoft Windows platforms (including the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 platform). The ATP7882 console management features include the ability to control UNIX-based, Linux-based, Solaris and IBM AIX servers as well as the newly introduced EMS protocols in Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Together the KVM over IP and console management features improve monitoring capabilities, allowing faster problem resolution and increased network uptime.
