Connect a PS/2 Computer to the Avocent AutoView 2000
Question: can this be use for autoview 400
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, this cable will not work with the Autoview 400. Additionally, our Avocent contact could not tell us what the replacement cable for the AutoView 400 would be.
Question: Can I connect old PC hardware (PS2 + VGA) on a KVM 3200 ? Will DSAVIQ-PS2M be compatible of my Old PC (HP/Compaq EVO D5S) ?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. The DSAVIQ-PS2M is the direct replacement for the Avocent AutoView 3200 AVRIQ-PS2 - Server interface module for VGA, PS/2 keyboard and mouse. If your older computers meet the minimum specifications for the AutoView 3200, the DSAVIQ-PS2M should be compatible.
Please note however, due to the complex nature of specific user environments, we cannot 100% guarantee compatibility.
