Question: Do I need to use Cat6a patch cables?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry,
The various DDX-CAMs for source computers and DDX-USR user stations are linked via CAT6a or CAT7 cable with S/FTP, S/STP or PiMF shielding - Please refer to page 2 "Cable type and distance rules" of the Adder DDX Matrix Manual (PDF) for more information.
Question: Does Adder have a DDX-USR device with a DP monitor interface?
Answer: Thank you your inquiry,
Adder does not currently have a DDX-UST user console with DisplayPort output. That being said, while DVI to DisplayPort conversion is typically not recommended because of fairly common compatibility issues, if your monitor supports HDMI, you can use a DVI to HDMI adapter such as the Adder VSCD11 to connect your display.
Also alternatively, Adders new INFINITY 4000-series matrix does offer native DisplayPort output and input.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!
