SmartAVI Point to Point Singlemode PS2 KVM Fiber Extender

The SmartAVI DVX2500 extends the distance between any computer supporting DVI-D and monitors or projectors up to 1200ft. with fiber optics.  The DVX2500 consists of a Transmitter unit and a Receiver unit. These two devices enable long-distance, loss less transmission of DVI video signals between a digital video source and a digital display device. This DVI extender is equipped with DVI-digital (Digital Visual Interface) connectors for a single-link and optional keyboard and mouse. The DVX2500 receiver is small enough to be attached near a projector. With the DVX2500, the maximum distance between the source and digital display is 330 feet (100 m) using cat5 and up to 1200ft using fiber optic.  The DVX2500 supports traditional analog VGA as well as digital DVI. All combinations of DVI and VGA (graphics cards and monitors) are supported allowing equipment to be mixed. You could use DVX2500 today to extend your existing SVGA equipment.
