High Resolution USB to Analog and Digital Audio Decoder (Outlet Item)

The GefenTV High Resolution USB to Analog and Digital Audio Decoder is ideal for anyone who wants to listen to streaming digital media coming from a computer to their analog or digital sound system using left/right speakers. The decoder supports digital audio up to 24 bits and 192kHz sampling rate coming from the USB port of a Windows PC or MAC computer, and converts it to optical digital (TOSLINK¨) and analog left/right audio. The outputs of the decoder can be connected to A/V Receivers, analog pre-amplifiers, or headphones. It is compact, easy to install, high performance, and versatile.

 If you are using a Windows PC, install the Gefen USB driver. If using a MAC, no installation is necessary. Connect the included USB cable from the USB source to the decoder. Connect a TOSLINK or L/R RCA cable from the decoder to the A/V Receiver or analog amplifier. Headphones can also be connected to the decoder. Power is supplied by the source over the USB cable.
Note: The source must be configured to output high resolution 2 channel LPCM audio through USB. This product does not support Dolby Digital¨ or DTS¨ encoded audio.
