Question: Is it possible to reset the configuration info in the KA-7570 adapter? I'm getting a "Cable not connected" error and can't make it go away.
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, detailed product support is beyond the scope of this FAQ. That being said, here are a couple things to possibly help.
Of course all connections should be checked as well as the CAT5 cable used to connect the KVM. If possible, switch the dongle with one that is known to work to see if the new dongle functions.
We did not find any information on resetting the adapter or a manual specifically for the KA7570, but it is possible the manual for the KVM that is in use may have information regarding resting the adapter.
For further assistance, we would suggest contacting ATEN support at: http://www.aten-usa.com/tech/?cssflag=inquiries.
