Icron Ranger 410i 4-Port USB Extender

The Icron 410i Ranger USB Extender (00-00017G)  is designed for end user applications. It provides all the flexibility of extended range USB in a ready-to-use package. The Icron 00-00017G extender is fully compliant with the USB 1.1 Specification and supports all USB benefits, including remote device powering, plug and play, and increased bandwidth.

Icron's products use standard Category 5 UTP cable (the same wiring used in Ethernet). The technology behind the product, ExtremeUSB does not require additional software for either the computer or target devices.

Icron 410i Ranger USB Extender (00-00017G)  products have two separate units: the Local Extender (LEX) and the Remote Extender (REX); both of which come in this package. Conventional USB cables are used to connect the LEX to the host computer and to connect one or more remote USB devices to the REX. The Category 5 UTP cabling connects the LEX and the REX can be up to 100 metres in length.

The Icron 410i Ranger USB Extender (00-00017G)  offers the flexibility of locating the power at either the LEX or the REX. Depending on where the power is supplied the Icron USB Ranger 110 can support both high-power and low-power USB devices.
