The Adder AdderLink ALAV208T (transmitter only) is an audio video extender that delivers high resolution crystal clear video and CD quality digital stereo audio across installations up to 2000ft. It has full RS232 support video display panels that can be controlled and interrogated remotely.
The ALAV208T is supplied complete with Adder DM (Display Manager) software. This advanced application makes controlling VDU power, video and audio possible from the transmitter, as well as allowing you to interrogate video panel status and dynamics. Due to Adder's 'Open Architecture' policy, you can still use any 3rd party signage control system with the ALAV208T.

Question: Can this transmitters signal be reproduced by an ALAV101R-US receiver?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. According to the manual, it is possible to connect the ALAV208T to a ALAV101R. However the following is stated:
'Module mixing - IMPORTANT
When necessary, the AV204T and AV208T modules can be used to link with AV100 receivers, however, the serial communications facilities must be first disabled using switch 10 on the AV204T/AV208T modules (see Switch settings for details)'
You might also be interested to know that the ALAV104T 4-port transmitter can be cascaded with additional AV104 transmitters to expand the number of available end points.
