The ADDERLink DV104K (ALDV104K) is a high performance digital video extender and splitter system that enables you to keep your critical media source hardware in a secure and temperature controlled environment away while maintaining a consistent user experience.
The ALDV104K-US includes the ALDV104T-US Transmitter and four ALDV100R Receiver units.

The ALDV104 is an intelligent non blocking cross point switch and extender. These configurations can be selected dynamically via the web interface or controlled by a 3rd party control system
The ALDV104K HDMI video extension system is visually lossless with no visible artefacts or latency allowing you to be certain of quality up to 1080p or 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) support prevents the interruption of HDMI data flow.
The ALDV104K determines if the entire system is operating correctly and video is visible on the monitors. It can detect if video is present from the player and whether the cables to the monitors are attached and the monitor is turned on. This information is available by an IP socket thus allowing remote diagnostics and integration into content management systems.
With two HDMI inputs, the ALDV104K system is suited to extending and splitting dual head systems. Alternatively the ALDV104K can also be set to detect when a video input stream is present and automatically switch over to the second video input if the primary fails.
Security on the web interface is by HTTP digest authentication (RFC 2617) with username and password as requested information.
The API documentation to control and receive data from the unit is provided with the system.
The ALDV104K supports high quality eight channel digital surround-sound audio (LPCM 7.1) from the connected HDMI source (HDMI-embedded audio).
The ALDV104K extender system has an intelligent EDID management to allow the true characteristics of the monitor to be passed back to the computer.
The receivers are designed to be highly power efficient, using less than an eighth of the power required by competing systems. Power is supplied along the CATx cable meaning the support infrastructure required is minimal.
The AdderLink ALDV104K extender kit is delivered in a zero config state so you can plug in the units and start working with them straight away. There is no need for drivers or software to be installed.
ALDV104T HDMI transmitters can be rack mounted into a 3U 19" chassis (ALAV-RMK-CHASSIS) using 'rack fascia plates' (ALDV-RMK-FASCIA).

Note: Recommended cables are CAT7 shielded foiled twisted pairs.
Category 6a or better shielded twisted pair cable must be used to connect the transmitter and receiver units in order to maintain compliance with energy emission regulations and ensure a high level of immunity to electromagnetic disturbances.
