The ADDERLink DV120 (ALDV120P) is an easy to install, highly compact video extender system that can transmit a DVI HD video stream over a single CATx cable. The extender system is powered by a single USB connection on the transmitter (TX) unit. This allows you to keep your media playback hardware in a secure and temperature controlled environment. The DV120 ensures that your valuable systems are kept safely away from unsecure environments while maintaining a consistent user experience.
The ALDV120P is suitable for a wide range of applications, especially for the Digital Signage (DOOH - Digital Out-Of-Home) and Audio Visual (AV) industries.
The ALDV120P extends video and power over a single CATx cable up to 164 feet (50 meters). *The actual achievable extension distance is dependent upon the CATx cable type used and the number of connection breaks for patch panels and wall plates
The ALDV120P DVI video extension system is visually lossless with no visible artefacts or latency allowing you to be certain of quality up to 1080p or 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) support prevents the interruption of HDMI data flow.
The ALDV120P is powered over a standard USB socket and does not require an external PSU. Highly energy efficient design uses less than an eighth of the power required by some competing systems.
The ALDV120P extender has an intelligent EDID management to allow the true characteristics of the monitor to be passed back to the computer.
With locking connectors and no power supplies required at the receiver (line-powered), the DV120 makes a perfect video wall companion and ideal for broadcast in public environments.
The AdderLink ALDV120P extender is delivered in a zero config state so you can plug in the units and start working with them straight away. There is no need for drivers or software to be installed.
