The SmartAVI HDX-LX-RXS use a single CAT5 UTP cable to extend HDMI signals - including high-definition TV over 250ft (75m) from the source. It is capable of transmitting high-resolution HD video up to 1080p. Controlling a video source is easy with the devices bi-directional IR extension. Whether it's for a home entertainment system or a commercial installation, the HDX-LX-RXS delivers flexibility and control.

Question: Is this compatible with the SmartAVI HDX-400-PRO over CAT5e UTP? If not, is there a different product that can split an HDMI signal to two separate displays?

The SmartAVI HDX-400-PRO is designed to work with HDX-RX100S Receiver Units rather than HDX-LX-RXS Receivers.
For a HDMI Splitter / Extender solution, you may be interested in the Adder XDIP-PSU HDMI Over-IP Matrix solution (3 nodes required for one source and two outputs) instead.
