Question: Can the device allow a single headset (microphone & speaker) and a single webcam to be "used/accessed" by any of the computers? Or if this device cannot support that, do you know of one that can?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. You will be looking for a KVM that has audio (speaker and mic) support with a USB hub. This particular unit will support audio speakers and has a USB hub to share peripherals, but unfortunately, it does not have a mic input.
However, there are a number of KVMs out there that will fit the bill. One such switch, that supports DVI monitors, is the https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/4svdvi10-001.html. If you require different inputs or would like to explore other options, please give us a call at 1-877-586-6654 to discuss your project further.
Question: Does Adder make a 2 port KVM, (e.g. a AV2PRO-VGA)? Also, does Adder make a USB compatible KVM with HDMI capability?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Adder does make a 2-port KVM,the AVG2 https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/avg2.html. Additional 2-port desktop KVMs can be found here: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/2-port-desktop-kvm.html.
In terms of an HDMI option, Adder does not have an HDMI KVM available at this time. You can find some of the other HDMI KVM options by clicking here.
Question: after a power cut over the weekend our box the online power light is off. how do we rectify this
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, due to the varied nature of user environments, detailed product support is beyond the scope of this simple FAQ.
Having said that, here are a few things you can try. First, ensure the outlet/power strip is receiving power and any fuse that may have blown is reset. Second, unplug the switch and try plugging it back in. If neither of these helps, please contact that manufacturer. The Adder support page can be reached here: http://www.adder.com/support. Adder also provides a support forum where you may be able to find help. The support forum can be reached here: http://forum.adder.com/
Question: Can I use one mouse and one keyboard to control the two monitors?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. This KVM switch allows for the control of 4 different PC's from one user station (Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard). If your application requires the support for dual monitors(two screens, one PC), this switch will not work. If you would like a recommendation based on your application, please feel free to contact your KVM Switches Online sales representative.
