Question: Will this cable be compatible with 1 computer running windows8.1 and the 2nd computer running windows7professional. I will only be using one monitor
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. While this KVM does not explicitly state that it supports Windows 7 or 8.1, it is listed as a Windows 8 compatible product on the manufacturer's website, so it should work. Unfortunately, there are too many different factors to 100% guarantee it will work in any particular user environment.
Question: how can i switch between 2 pc-s (combination of keys)
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry.
It is not real clear from the manual, but we believe you can use the following sequence for hot key switching, [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] - hit the scroll lock key twice on rapid succession. If the default hotkey sequence has been changed, you may need to use the alternative sequence which is [Ctrl] [Ctrl].
